One of the main characters in Off the Rack is the couture wedding dress Kat is having designed by a local designer. Like the designer, it is also a victim, when the murdered designer’s body falls on it.
In the next book, Book 12, The Perfect Pair, anticipated early this fall, Kat has been able to recapture the essence of the dress by describing her requirements online and locating a seamstress who is able to mimic the original.
When I was writing about the first dress, I selected details for a dress I thought might look good on a bride in her sixties. I picked those out of the air without any particular picture in mind. For this current book I gave ChatGPT the details and asked it to illustrate a dress. I was delighted with the result, which I share with you now.
